About Me
Welcome!
Hi! I’m Bonnie, a romance author writing from the heart of the Canadian Prairies, where I live with my husband—better known as Mr. Farmer—and our two kids. Ranch life isn’t just something I write about; it’s the life I get to live every day.
Whether I’m writing about rugged cowboys or dangerous mafia kings, my stories are always filled with heart. You’ll find strong women, found families, a touch of romantic suspense, and heroes who eventually discover that real strength isn’t found in power, it’s found in vulnerability.
When I’m not at my desk chasing plot twists and happily-ever-afters, you’ll probably find me in the field lending a hand to Mr. Farmer, at the rink cheering on Kid One during hockey season, or hanging around the community hall while Kid Two dances her heart out.
Around here, life is busy, a little chaotic, and full of love—which is probably why my books are too.

My Writing Journey
Like so many authors, I got my start writing fan fiction…though those stories will stay safely hidden forever! When I decided to write my first novel in 2020, the world had slowed down, life was uncertain, and I needed an escape. So, I sat down and wrote my first romance.
I won’t lie—I was terrified of how people would perceive me. Thankfully, I had an incredible group of women cheering me on and encouraging me to take the leap. Their support helped bring The Arrangement to life, and to this day, it remains my favorite book I’ve written.
I dipped my toes into novellas for a while, but I quickly realized I needed more room for my characters to tell their stories. Whether I’m writing cowboys or the mafia, I love the fierce loyalty and protectiveness that define both worlds. Add a little suspense, a found family, and a hero willing to burn the world down for the people he loves, and I’m all in.
I may have wandered away from cowboys for a while, but they had other plans. They called me back, and I’ve been happily writing small-town romance with a little dirt on the boots ever since. No matter the setting, my stories always come back to family, belonging, and finding home where you least expect it.
